Perfume Oil Facts:   - Cosmetic grade: perfume oils are used to make perfumes, and are made specifically to be worn on the body.  - Perfume Oils are classified by "grades." The cheaper the grade, the  cheaper the quality, the cheaper the cost of the oil. - Perfume Oils are further classified into two categories: oils specifically to be used on the body (can also be used for other things), and oils that are not meant to be used on the body (candles and soaps... although not meant for the body, they are often sold for this purpose, do not do harm to the body, but are an inferior grade of oil). - Ancient civilizations burned fragrant resins as offerings. This began fragrant "rituals" and is also the early origin of "perfumes." - Throughout history, some of the most treasured gifts presented to Kings, Queens, and Nobility were spices, and  perfume oils. - Oils penetrate paper, wood, skin, hair, or any porous material. - Oil based perfumes will penetrate your skin, hair...allowing the fragrance to last longer than "regular" alcohol based perfumes (alcohol causes evaporation). - Commercial Perfumes: at the mall...consist of perfume oils along with fillers such as water or alcohol.  - Perfumes at the mall normally consists of 15 to 30% body oil, and 70 to 85% alcohol, water, or miscellaneous fillers. - Alcohol or water...used as fillers causes traditional perfumes to evaporate 10 to 15 times more quickly. Your fragrance, although strong at first, will evaporate into the atmosphere along with the alcohol within several hours. - Alcohol based perfumes, will evaporate from porous materials, including your skin, within a much shorter time span than an oil based perfume product. - A smaller bottle of pure body oil will last longer than a larger bottle of perfume: composed of fragrance and fillers. - Oil based perfume body oils last longer on your skin, and provide a truer, sensuous fragrance. - To make your chosen "scent" last longer - layer it! Add your perfume oil to shower gels, lotions, body creams... and dab it on your pulse points (wrist, behind your ears, over your heart...).  Don't forget to dab behind your knees and on your ankles. Your scent will drift upward, allowing the fragrance to disperse, and you'll enjoy it more! - The same "scent" will smell somewhat different on different individuals. The essence of a body oil depends on your body chemistry, your diet, whether or not you smoke, and other miscellaneous factors. - The color of the oil depends on the age of the oil, the weather, and the manufacturing season. - Don't store your perfume oils in direct sunlight: it may cause the oil to darken in color due to a chemical reaction caused by ultraviolet rays from the sun.   Our perfume oils offer you a  true alternative to higher priced traditional  perfumes.
