AromaKaye.com ©2002-2010
Traditional African Black Soap (Alata Samina) 100% Natural/Vegan.
*Yes, this is the same natural soap as above. What's the difference? This version of African black soap, also literally takes "all day" to make it by hand; yet, it is not cooked for the same extended length of time as African black soap in the darker version listed above. The end result is simply a smoother, harder, concentrated bar of soap. As with both versions, a small amount will last a long time.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: plantain leaves, vitamins A and E, iron, paw paw fruit, virgin palm oil, African Shea butter, cocoa pods, organic oils, and natural herbs derived solely from Ghana, Africa. There are no artificial colors or enhancers, and no chemicals.
USES: (Alata Samina) blemish relief, helps even skin tones and fade uneven dark spots, deep cleansing, antiseptic, moisturizing thick lather, naturally helps remove body fungus, provides natural cleaning for the face, body, and scalp.

*Skin type suggestions above are general guidelines if using on the facial areas only. To use on hair and body areas: simply choose which one you think you would most enjoy. Regardless of your selection, once you try organic African black soap, it's hard to be satisfied with the usual "off the shelf" store brand varieties!
PRODUCT REVIEW: Organic Ghana African Black Soap - I was once very neutral about Traditional African Black Soap from Ghana but, having used it for almost 8 years now, I continue to be fascinated with the texture, the cleansing which continued to control acne and the softening effect it has on my skin. It has a mild, clean, natural smell (not offensive or oily like some seem to imagine) wonderfully moisturizing, and always gives a scrumptious, creamy lather that is somewhat addictive. It is an excellent cleaner for all skin types, and will always be a definitely staple in my household.
African black soaps: are difficult to make, and for African women the process involve long hours of intense labor. They are used effectively for removing body odors, rashes, acne, ringworm, miscellaneous skin ailments, to thoroughly cleanse and even skin tones, and to help remove and prevent blemishes on the skin.
